Riazul Tequila Extra Anejo

Riazul Extra Añejo is a 100% blue agave tequila aged four years — three years in American oak and a final year finished in Oloroso Sherry casks — delivering an opulent, balanced, amber-hued tequila with vanilla aromas and a palate of sweet agave, ripe fruit, and spice.

Riazul’s estate sits on 620 acres in the highlands of Jalisco, land handed down through the family of founder Iñaki Orozco since the Mexican War of Independence. The high elevation, cool climate, and red volcanic soil (tierra roja) yield blue agave that is more aromatic and sweeter than typical Jalisco agave. Piñas are steam-baked for 36 hours, then fermented and twice-distilled in stainless steel pot stills before extended cask maturation.
