Journeyman Distillery Bilberry Black Hearts Gin
Journeyman Distillery Bilberry Black Hearts Gin is a uniquely American-style gin built around the Bilberry alongside traditional botanicals — juniper, lemon, bitter orange, cinnamon, coriander, anise, angelica, and orris root — delivering a fruity, citrus profile with berry custard tart character and hints of pepper and spice.
Journeyman Distillery is housed in the former E.K. Warren factory in Three Oaks, Michigan, an early-1900s building with the original maple factory floors from the 1800s, an original concrete bar made in Grand Rapids with coordinates etched into the side, and wood reclaimed from the founders’ family barn in central Indiana — wood that once served as flooring for an early-1900s schoolhouse. The building’s history is its own kind of botanical: E.K. Warren was a staunch prohibitionist when he built the factory, and the irony of a distillery now bringing it back to life is part of what defines the brand.
