Coppersea Green Malt Barley Whiskey 375ml

Coppersea Green Malt Barley Whiskey is a richly herbaceous and fruity malt whisky from Coppersea Distilling in West Park, New York — robust notes of fresh hay, figs, and lemongrass with restrained barrel character offering caramel, vanilla, and nutmeg. A complex whisky to be savored and pondered in a snifter or copita, possibly with a few drops of water to reveal additional depth. 375ml.

Established in 2011 on a 70-acre farm in New York’s Hudson Valley, Coppersea is one of only four U.S. distilleries with its own floor malting space — fresh, moistened grain is spread across the malting floor and allowed to sprout for about five days, converting starches to the sugars and enzymes that feed fermentation. Fermentation runs in American-made wood mash tubs; distillation occurs in hand-hammered alembic copper stills inside a custom-built still oven.
