Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series 2021 Limited Release FAE-01 is the third release in the Wood Finishing Series — amplifying the naturally present dried-fruit and woody richness of Maker’s Mark in a distinctively Maker’s way, with figgy notes complemented by tobacco undertones and a pleasantly dank woodiness. As the distillery puts it, it tastes exactly how the barrel warehouse smells.

The Wood Finishing Series uses custom Independent Stave Company virgin oak stave inserts placed into fully-matured Maker’s Mark for additional secondary maturation. Each annual release uses a different stave combination to highlight a different flavor characteristic of the underlying bourbon.
