Lucid Absinthe Superieure is a traditional French absinthe crafted from Grande Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), European green anise, and sweet fennel using whole herbs — never cold-mixed from industrial extracts — producing a naturally green spirit with a strong anise-forward aroma, complex herbal palate, and genuine absinthe character that earned it 90 points at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

Lucid was among the first absinthes legally imported to the United States after the 2007 regulatory change that clarified the thujone limits allowing properly made absinthe to be sold in America. The natural green color comes directly from the chlorophyll of the whole herbs — unlike artificial colorants that remain stable, natural color fades to amber over time and light exposure (the classic fading of traditional absinthe). No added sugars means Lucid is a genuine absinthe rather than an anise liqueur — the traditional preparation (cold water dripped over a sugar cube) can be adapted to taste without the spirit being pre-sweetened.
