Hendrick's Orbium is the Cabinet of Curiosities expression for the martini-obsessed — the standard Hendrick's dual-still base (Bennett pot still and Carter Head still) infused with three additional extracts: quinine, wormwood, and blue lotus blossom, producing a gin of more complex, bitter, and aromatic depth than the original that rewards neat sipping and precise classic cocktails.

Lesley Gracie, Hendrick's Master Distiller at the Gin Palace in Girvan, designed Orbium to answer a specific question: what if the botanicals most associated with classic cocktail ingredients — quinine from tonic water, wormwood from vermouth — were introduced directly into the gin rather than via the mixer? Quinine adds a dry, refreshing bitterness; wormwood contributes complex herbal depth; blue lotus blossom balances the two with brightness and a long satisfying finish. All three work over the Hendrick's signature cucumber and rose base. Distilled in exceedingly small batches at the Gin Palace.
