G4 Reposado Tequila

G4 Reposado Tequila is the rested expression from Felipe Camarena at El Pandillo distillery in Jesús María, Jalisco — highland Blue Weber agave (8–10 years old) cooked in custom stone ovens, crushed with the mechanical tahona affectionately named “Frankenstein,” fermented with proprietary natural yeasts passed down through the family, and distilled in small copper pot stills. Smooth and balanced with hints of vanilla, caramel, and agave, finished in oak to a golden hue.

El Pandillo is one of the most respected highland distilleries in the additive-free movement. The G4 name refers to the fourth generation of the Camarena family in tequila production, a lineage that also includes G4’s sister brand Tequila Tapatio. The Reposado sits between the Blanco’s raw cane character and the Extra Añejo’s extended oak influence — enough barrel time to soften and round the agave without burying the highland sugarcane character that makes El Pandillo distinctive.
