English Harbour 10 Year Old Rum
English Harbour 10 Year Old Reserve is a well-aged Antiguan rum from Antigua Distillery — a blend of rums aged between 10 and 25 years, with bourbon and Tennessee whiskey cask maturation augmented by handfuls of oak chips for additional rum-and-wood interaction. Compared to the 5 Year, it has more structure with spices and balanced wood notes layered over the underlying foundation.
Antigua Distillery uses a five-column continuous still for distillation — one of only two copper continuous stills in the Caribbean — producing a lighter, more characterful style that responds well to extended tropical aging. Molasses is fermented for 24-36 hours in open-top fermenters with a mix of commercial and wild yeast, and warehouse maturation takes place without temperature control to allow the tropical climate to work on the rum naturally.
