Blood Oath is the limited annual bourbon release from Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, built around Master Distiller John Rempe. Each year, Rempe selects three bourbons of varying mash bills, ages, and barrel character and vats them into a single Pact — a one-time annual release, never repeated. Most Pacts include a finishing cask treatment (port, sauternes, rum, cabernet, sherry, caribbean rum, sherry/cognac, etc.) that defines that particular year’s expression and gives each release its own personality within the broader Blood Oath family.
