Bisol Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze
Bisol Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze is from the legendary 107-hectare Cartizze hill — widely considered the most precious vineyard in Italy and the apex of the Prosecco appellation — produced from Bisol’s 7-acre holding on its summit, the heart of the Bisol family estate.
The Bisol family’s historic winery is in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene, where they manage 308 acres of vineyards across 35 plots in premier DOCG locations. Their 7-acre summit holding on the Cartizze hill is the most concentrated expression of the Valdobbiadene terroir. Bisol works some of the steepest hills in the area by hand using sustainable techniques, and tests at least six new vinification techniques each year to better understand the region’s unique terroir.
